Special features

1.Permanent elasticity in hot-cold cycles.

2.To some degree usable in worn-out, damaged,and deformed flanges.

3.Usable under rough conditions.

4.Approximately 10% spring-back of thickness in the installed state.

Can be manufactured to order in nuclear grade according to the Burgmann quality assurance manual and verified with certificates.

Materials

1.Gasketing tape:graphite,PTFE

2.Metal spiral:standard grades 1.4541(AISI 321), 1.4571(AISI 316Ti).

                     other materials on request

3.Inner ring: corresponds to material of the metal spiral

4.Outer ring:generally galvanized steel, coating steel.

Operating limits

Temperature:-200~500^oC(Higher temperatures in an inert environment dependent on 

                                      steel grade---please enquire)

Pressure:up to 400bar(Class 2500) for flanges according to DIN and ASME.

                         (higher pressure on request)

Helium tightness to 1.7*10^-9mbar^.l/s.

Resistant to almost all(aggressive) media(pH 0-14).
